Zepheniah
was a prophet
in Judah during
the reign of Josiah.
Like many other prophets of this era, he warned of the fall of Judah to foreign
empires, and particularly of the expansion of the Babylonian
Empire that would overtake Judah, Israel and many
other nations. He also spoke of God’s assurance that
He would preserve a remnant of people who would be faithful to Him.
